Event Description

All hospices are vulnerable to payment take backs/repayments and Department of Justice sanctions. Various oversight and regulatory bodies are gathering and analyzing hospice data from claims, cost reports, aggregate cap reports, studies, investigations, and surveys. CMS is circling ‘relatedness’ in hospices. This educational web event will help hospices to identify the key areas of vulnerability that are rising to the top. The session will help hospices to identify specific areas of risk and discuss ways to address with them. The session will provide a comprehensive overview of key hospice vulnerabilities, how a hospice can assess its own compliance with these areas, and discuss common practices that are of concern, along with tips for operating in full compliance.
