NASWVA Offers a seven (7) hours Test-Taking Tips and Strategies Workshop Designed to Help Improve Your Chances of Exam Success!!
You knew you studied hard! You also knew the clinical and ethics content! So what happened? Why didn’t you pass the licensure exam? What factors prevented you from being able to say “I PASSED”?
If the above comment refers to you – or even if it does not, but you still want to learn and practice evidence-based test-taking strategies and tips to help improve your test-taking skills, this workshop is for you! The content will include test-taking “Preparation” strategies, “During the Test” tips and strategies; “Multiple Choice” test strategies and “Melting Brain-freeze” techniques. Brain-freeze techniques will also include anxiety reduction strategies and directed practice throughout the workshop, all designed to direct your focus and recall on the exam content and not on the tension in your body!!
(Some content adapted from Ellis. D., (2016). The Essential Guide to Becoming a Master Student, (4th Ed.) Boston: Cengage.)
