*All cancellations will incur a $50 administrative fee.

 

The 2014 Pre-Conference Institute and Annual Conference registration fee covers:

  •  Admission to the continuing education workshops
  • Refreshment breaks
  •  Continental breakfasts
  • Awards luncheon
  •  Extended Break Networking Reception

To maximize the enjoyment and learning opportunities at the conference, we are limiting class sizes based on the rooms’ capacity. Attendees must wear name badges at all times during the conference.

 


Registration:

  • The preferred method to register is via the NASW-VA web site - www.naswva.org
  • When you register, indicate which Conference Special Events you will attend. If you are attending the Awards Luncheon, make sure you select your menu choice.
  •  For those who register by mail or fax: under Workshop Selection, select 1st and 2nd choices on the days you will attend. If your first choice is filled when you submit your registration, we will enroll you in your second choice.
  • Group Discount: If 3 or more attendees register from the same organization, a 10% discount on the total registration fee will be given. ALL ATTENDEES MUST WORK FOR THE SAME ORGANIZATION. To obtain this discount, the registration fee must be paid by company check or credit card and received via mail or fax, and not permitted online. No additional discounts apply.
  • Student Discount: To be eligible for the Student discount, registrant must be enrolled full-time in an accredited Social Work degree program. Students taking advantage of the lower student fee must provide the Chapter office with a copy of a current student ID card/NASW membership number in order to qualify for this discount
  •  Please indicate any special needs in the space provided on the Registration Form.

Save by registering before January 17, 2014, 5:00pm. Take advantage of the early discounts.

Workshops are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis and many will close as requests are received.

 

Payment and Mailing Specifics

  • Pay by credit card or check payable to NASW-VA 
  •  Registrations will be returned unless full payment is enclosed.
  • Personal or agency checks returned due to insufficient funds are charged the balance plus a $20.00 bank fee and a $25 administrative fee.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy 

  • All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing and sent by mail to the address above, or by fax at 804-204-1539. 
  •  Cancellation and refund requests must be dated.
  • A full refund, less a $50 administration fee, will be processed for cancellations received by February 28, 2014. NASWVA will acknowledge the cancellation in writing. 
  • Cancellations postmarked after February 28, 2014 will not receive a refund. 
  •  No refunds will be given for failure to attend the conference.

Early registration ends on 1/31/2014.
Regular registration starts on 2/1/2014 and ends on 4/4/2014.
Late registration starts on 4/4/2014.
