Event Description

Organ Preservation Symposium              

On Day 1, a full day of speaker presentations will be delivered by subject matter experts in the fields of research and organ preservation.  8:00am to 5:00pm

On Day 2, we offer a hands-on Kidney Perfusion Lab providing exposure to the latest techniques and equipment.  8:00am to 5:00pm.  The session will cover:

  • Perfusion Machine Set – up
  • Kidney Anatomy & Separating Enbloc Kidneys
  • Biopsy Collection & Anatomical Abnormalities
  • Kidney Cannulation
  • Perfusion Machine Placement & Operation
  • Exposure to two Perfusion Machines
