2014 Careers in History Symposium -- Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, December 5 --
The symposium is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students and will include an engaging Lightning Round & Networking event, a breakout session for undergraduates and one for graduate students, a plenary speaker, opportunities to talk with a wide variety of history professionals, and optional behind-the-scenes tours of Indianapolis historic sites. Besides specific history/public history career information, we will offer fresh perspectives on the many ways in which professional historians, curators, preservationist, government agencies, and small businesses work together.
You may register online for $15 through December 3. Preregistration is strongly encouraged. If space is available, you may register onsite for $20 the day of the conference. Refund requests must be received by email (ncph@iupui.edu) no later than December 3.
