A Personalized Training Experience for Library Leaders
Maxine Bleiweis—consultant, former library director, and recipient of the PLA Charles Robinson Award for Innovative Leadership in 2015—will lead a personalized training series designed to help you become the library manager you want to be. While you can get great information from books and classes, this event will give you something you can't get anywhere else—unique coaching and consultation tailored to you and your career as a library leader.
Bleiweis will be working with a group limited to 8 individuals and will provide face-to-face training, live online webinars and one-on-one consultations. This unique combination of small group support plus expert guidance will help shape your library management style and will help you instill confidence in you as a leader.

Managing boards and city managers
Spotting trends
Leveraging your community for support
Taking care of yourself
Community leadership
Management styles
Participants will be asked to complete a confidential questionnaire prior to the first session to assist in informing the breadth and depth of the training focus. Ms. Bleiweis will also schedule one-on-one consultations with each participant, at times convenient for both you and she.
