About this Webinar

Library workers that live with a mental illness disability sometimes need formal accommodations, but there is little guidance on how to go about the accommodations process. In this webinar Megan Toups, a Research and Instruction Librarian from Saint Louis University, will share her experiences having a mental illness disability and how she advocated for herself and successfully got through the accommodations process at her university.

There will also be time for people to share their own experiences and ask questions.

Presented by: Megan Toups

Megan Toups is currently the STEM Librarian in the Research and Instruction Department at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri. She has spoken and published about her experiences working in the library profession while living with a mental illness. She has worked in a variety of positions and roles in the library profession including as staff, tenure-track faculty, and non-tenure track faculty.
