Digitization Series: Digital Reformatting and File Management 

SEFLIN is offering a series of six webinars on Digitization. These webinars are based on the DPLA's Public Library Partnerships Project Curriculum, and are ideal for libraries looking to get a digitization project started or learn more about the process.

The Digital Reformatting and File Management webinar is ideal for information professionals who are new to digitization. This webinar will cover:

  • Scanning and Conversion
  • File Naming
  • File Storage
  • Working with Partners and Vendors

This webinar will be presented by Veronica Gonzalez, library in the Sound and Image Resources Department of the Green Library at Florida International University. She is currently in charge of one of the most extensive publicly available collections of Cuban music in the United States, which she utlizes to support research and advance efforts in preservation, access, and digitization.
