Event Description

Social Services in Libraries Discussion Group Presents: The Breathing Lab with Scott Feinberg

The Breathing Lab

A Breath Work Training To Re-Set & Recalibrate The Nervous System

Thursday, September 30, 1 - 3 PM EST

In this provocative 2 hour workshop, we will explore the unique relationship between our breath and our nervous system. We will learn not just about how our breathing can help to regulate our nervous system during times of hyper or hypo arousal, but we will practice the techniques themselves and learn safe and simple tools for breath work facilitation.

If you are interested in expanding your personal and professional wellness disciplines, this workshop will provide you with new tools to support yourself and others.

Scott Feinberg BIO
As an author, meditation teacher, and Inner Activism Coach, Scott's passion resides in supporting people as they navigate the journey home to their most authentically sovereign selves. He sees this work as less about becoming and more about harnessing the bravery to see ourselves fully and love ourselves deeply.

Having taught meditation and inquiry-based yoga since 2002, Scott has since trained over 500 teachers and has facilitated inner work and service retreats internationally for over 15 years. He sees writing as a form of space holding, a way to peel back the layers of our beautiful, messy and sacred humanness as a doorway into the deeper dimensions of soul.
