Goal of the Smart Communities Standards Working Group:

Drive market acceleration for Smart Communities solutions by providing standards, criteria, documentation, training, and other related knowledge transfer vehicles for:

1. Individual components and services
2. Market IoT /smart community solutions in an integrated network environment
3. Operational readiness to meet end customer expectations
4. Roadmaps and Technology Evolution
5. Security and operational risk management
6. Orchestration and scheduling of lifecycle management events across the supplier ecosystem
7. Open Network topology management and peering of services
8. Development of protocol and standards to facilitate for interoperability, authorization, access and movement of facilitating data services across licensed and unlicensed operator networks.

Collectively, this program will provide assurance (i.e. confidence) that a smart community or component solution will meet functional and performance requirements with adequate security and reliability.
