You are invited to join us for the launch of TIA’s Edge Data Center and Computing Standards Working Group Meeting for Wireless and Other Critical ICT Infrastructure.

Goal of the TIA’s Edge Data Center and Computing Standards Working Group:

Evaluate the industry needs to enable standards setting for the operational at mass scale of edge data centers for hosted computing across a number of topics including:

1. Security and operational risk management
2. Orchestration and scheduling of lifecycle management events across the supplier ecosystem
3. Open Network topology management and peering of services
4. Development of protocol and standards to facilitate for interoperability, authorization, access and movement of facilitating data services across licensed and unlicensed operator networks.

Collectively, the overall intent of this initiative is to provide assurance (i.e. confidence) and engagement across the supply chain that a large ’network’ of smaller micro data centers can be developed and managed without introducing significant additional risk and cost.
