What are the politics around the Farm bill and the politics around SNAP? The Health and Social Policies and the Energy, Environment, and Agriculture Task Forces have joined forces to host a panel of experts for you on the Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP).
As the debate over the Farm bill continues, more questions remain over the past, present and future of the SNAP program.
Panelist will discuss the federal and state roles in the administration of the program, the legislative process and politics (both past and current), and demographics on who are SNAP recipients.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions about these topics covered and network with other attendees.
