Direct Connect to Congress was designed by Women in Government Relations (WGR) to give unique insights and perspectives on the inner workings of Congress. This year's mini-session will feature a three-hour class that will examine congressional procedure used by Members of Congress in the House and Senate.

WGR's program features a Washington DC Legend, and WGR Emeritus Member, Judy Schneider, a specialist on Congress and a former House and Senate committee staffer. She has taught hundreds of Members of Congress and their staff on Congressional procedure. Schneider is also co-author of Congressional Deskbook, a comprehensive resource tool frequently used by Congress and lobbyists.

Payment, Replacement & Refund Policy- WGR event registration fees must be paid in advance. If you are unable to attend, you may send a substitute, however you are responsible for the difference in fees if the individual is a non-member. The deadline to receive a refund is three (3) business days prior to the event. The request must be received in writing, prior to the deadline.

 
 

As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for 3 credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.
