Event Description

This year SLC will focus on entering the workforce. We will explore some “odd-ball” meat science careers that you may not have considered including areas in journalism, food distribution, animal handling, rendering, and non-profit organizations. Then we will explore the meaning of working well with others through personality profiling. What will you learn about yourself? We will conclude the conference with tips and tricks to approaching professional members.
