Program Highlights

Fabricator to Contractor Roundtable
Attention Fabricators! Ever wanted to share with a reinforced concrete contractor what’s really on your mind, while also gaining a better understanding of their point of view? Then this is your chance. We are pleased to have Mr. Jim Dick, Chief Concrete Estimator at Pankow Builders, join us for what should prove to be an interactive discussion/question/answer session. For example, this is your opportunity to ask questions regarding roles and responsibilities of the fabricator, placer, General Contractor, and inspector when something doesn’t go according to plan prior to concrete being poured. Don’t miss this chance to gain a greater understanding of the role and work of this important project participant.

California OSHA Updates—Lyle Sieg, Harris Rebar
Learn how this Standards Board’s new regulations will strive to protect the safety of construction workers engaged in the placing of reinforcing steel bar and post tensioning of concrete.

Industry Activities in California - Tom Tietz, California Nevada Cement Association
Come hear how an allied industry partner engages in regulatory and legislative efforts that focus on infrastructure and the environment.
