Jonathan Hummel, Governor

Jonathan Hummel is the Deputy Chief Risk Officer of the Americas for Deutsche Bank. His responsibilities include helping oversee the Intermediate Holding Company, the Bank’s New York Branch and the Combined US Operations.  He serves as the Vice Chair of the Americas Management Risk Committee, oversees the development and management of cross risk projects and is the management co-sponsor of the Risk People initiative.


Additionally, Jonathan is the Global Head of Business Aligned Risk Management (BRM) for the FX, Rates and Institutional Client Group (ICG) divisions and is the Risk representative on those Business Executive Committees.  He also serves as a member of the BRM Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Risk Management Forum.  Finally, he is the Global Head of Funds Credit Risk Management. 


Jonathan joined Deutsche Bank in 2004 as a Vice President covering North American hedge funds.  Prior to working at Deutsche Bank, Jonathan held various positions both in Credit and in the Business Intelligence Group at Goldman Sachs.  Jonathan is also the former Chairperson of the Capital Markets Credit Analysts Society (CMCAS).  He has also been a speaker on a number of industry panels and a guest lecturer at the London School of Economics and Fordham University.
