Description Dr. Clive Robbins was a co-originator of Creative Music Therapy who worked with children with developmental and multiple disabilities for over fifty years. Throughout his years of teamwork with Dr. Paul Nordoff beginning in 1959, Clive Robbins was continuously active in the practice, documentation, study, research, and demonstration of creative music therapy with children and adolescents presenting a wide range of disabling conditions. Clive led with his heart so clearly and passionately that people sometimes overlook his immense intellectual contribution to the field. Through lecture, discussion, video examples, audio examples and live music making, we will illuminate Clive’s legacy and the various facets of his work: teamwork, writing, teaching and his philosophy.
