Develop readiness skills by teaching phonological awareness and make that learning stick by using music and movement based strategies. Research shows that targeted phonological awareness intervention has a significant impact on literacy and also improves speech production. Concepts will be illustrated through case studies of children with autism and vignettes of neurotypical kids. Leave this workshop with multiple music-based interventions to improve communication and literacy skills.
