Speaker Information

J.D. Beiting joined Benefactor Group with over ten years of experience in non-profit fundraising, operations, and management. J.D. brings unique experience in developing creative and collaborative approaches to help nonprofit organizations build successful peer-to-peer fundraising, with applications to broad-base solicitation, member acquisition, and recurring gift programs. He also has experience in working with corporate, foundation, and government funders on a national, state, and local scale, as well as cause marketing, foundation relations, special event and annual giving campaigns.

J.D. has held senior leadership positions with Action for Healthy Kids, a national group addressing childhood obesity, as Director of Planning and Development, and continues to serve the organization on a part-time basis. On a state level, he was Director of Strategic Alliances at Children’s Hunger Alliance. Locally, he serves on boards at the ROY G BIV gallery and the United Way of Central Ohio. Also, he brings corporate experience from Price Waterhouse Coopers and the Southland Corporation. J.D. graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
