Dr. Tom Griffiths, EdD, is one of the leading experts in the field of aquatic safety. He is founder of the Aquatic Safety Research Group, and served as the Director of Aquatics and Safety Officer for Athletics at Penn State University for nearly 25 years. He has been involved in all phases of aquatics and water safety for 30 years and has published more than 300 articles. Doug Persohn is the president and owner of Buckeye Aquatics, LLC.  Earning a degree in Environmental Science from The Ohio State University, Doug has become an industry leader in developing energy efficient solutions that reduce operating costs for commercial aquatics clients.  Doug and his team of expert technicians are up on all of the latest standards and techniques, and are committed to offering the best solutions for our clients and the environment.

Sam Pisano is a project manager and sales representative for O.P. Aquatics.  With an extensive background in aquatics, Sam has been with O.P. Aquatics for 20 years.  He has a background in post environmental health, municipal water and pollution control, and Reverse Osmosis plant operations.

Bill Schwandt works in customer service and technical support at O.P. Aquatics and has been with the company for 25 years.  Bill has been in the pool industry for more than 40 years starting in high school as a lifeguard.  He has also been a water safety instructor, managed a residential pool for 8 years, and has worked for parks and recreation departments in both Rocky River and Bowling Green.
