AIM's 2012 Legislative Agenda
AIM accomplished half of its 2011 priorities. The governor vetoed one of those bills. So, in 2012, AIM has reformed its legislative agenda to include more specific items, consisting of: the "Broad-Based Tax Relief Act of 2012", specific Second Injury Fund Reforms, and a second attempt at employment law reforms.
The Planning & Policy Committee meets annually to discuss and approve legislative priorities for the upcoming legislative session. These are the priority items that AIM will fight for in 2012. If you have any questions regarding the priorities, please contact the AIM office at 573-634-2246.
AIM's 2011 Legislative Agenda
Associated Industries of Missouri meets annually to discuss and approve legislative priorities for the upcoming legislative session. In November 2010, the AIM Policy and Planning Committee presented eight priorities to the full Board of Directors. All eight were debated and approved unanimously.
