The Minnesota Sheriffs' Association partners with the League of Minnesota Cities in offering on-line training through PATROL.

PATROL is a powerful learning tool for Minnesota law enforcement agencies. Through PATROL, agencies have access to extensive web-based courses on current legal issues, and research on important developments impacting Minnesota law enforcement.

Each month a new 60 minute course is available to officers and deputies. Upon successful completion, one POST credit is earned toward continuing education credits. An additional five courses are available on Use of Force and Deadly Force, Bloodborne Pathogens and HazMat training, which are approved by POST toward mandated training requirements. PATROL can be accessed at any time from any internet connect.
