On our legislative committee, Bev Lowe and her county attorney Chuck Salter took the lead because of the large volume of foreclosures and the many, varied, troublesome issues encountered including holding millions of dollars in overages. She will address our initial legislative proposals and Kevin will address the present language after input from a variety of interested parties including his real estate group at the MSBA.

With over 30 years of experience in the landlord-tenant area, Larry was hired to lead the national eviction project.   Over the years, he has spent countless hours at the Minnesota Legislature changing the laws in this area.  He will discuss legislative changes that will assist Sheriffs when carrying out their civil process duties.
