Rana Alexander

Rana will address the 2017 legislative changes in the domestic abuse and harassment laws.  She will also address the problems with the service and enforcement of these laws.  This is a MUST SEE presentation!

Tom will outline the bankruptcy process and provide guidance on what the Sheriff's Office should do when performing its Civil Process function and the bankruptcy flag is raised--whether it is an eviction process, mortgage foreclosure/redemption, or a collection matter.

Charles will address the recent litigation regarding Hennepin County being sued for denying a redemption claim, including his insights as to for what Sheriffs' Offices should be looking.
